A well known character on the Nairobi scene, Charles Sekano grew
up in Sophia Town in South Africa and later became an exile for
nearly twenty years.
Famous for a decade for his music and his stunning, Fauvist,
Matisseesque pastels, in recent years he has developed his works
in oils, bringing together his outrageous sense of color and an
intuitive response to a dynamic new medium. Sekano is an artist
of sincerity and commitment and has shown in Europe and Japan,
Amsterdam, etc. He is currently in his homeland - South Africa. |
