Joseph Kartoon
A native of Ngecha village it was no surprise the young Kartoon was inducted at a very early age (schoolboy) into the Ngecha art movement led by Sane Wadu. All the materials he could afford at the time were charcoal and paper. In time he graduated to acrylics, oil and canvas. He was featured in in-flight magazines and East African contemporary art books. Kartoon has exhibited in Canada, France, Germany, USA and Japan.
